We are dedicated to both quality and health. Chitose is grown in an organic environment, using only the finest, first-harvest tea leaves. Our matcha is cultivated in Asahina, Shizuok. Which is an area with a rich history in tea farming, dating back to the Muromachi period (1392‒1573). The entire tea fields are covered with 98% shade for more than 20 days before harvest. This method enriches L-Theanine, enhancing the umami flavor while boosting chlorophyll, giving Chitose its vibrant green color appearance.
